Charlice Noble-Jones
Instructional Specialist, Dougherty County School System
A former educator, Charlice Noble-Jones is now involved in Dougherty County School System’s implementation of its 1:1 Technology Initiative – an ambitious program that will see personal technology devices in the hands of every student by the end of the year. As an instructional specialist, Noble-Jones will oversee the technology rollout to two schools. She says she excited to be able to help the system continue its march towards becoming one of the largest 1:1 systems in the state.
When she isn’t molding the minds of children, Noble-Jones is busy developing a personal business venture with her business partner which she hopes to have up and running this fall.
A member of the Albany Area YMCA, Noble-Jones says she and her son spend a lot of time trying to become more healthy at the gym. She’s also helping the local Pop Warner organization as a scholastic coordinator and she says that just loves to live life. It’s about living not merely existing, she says.
A native of Albany, Noble-Jones says she may have a slight addiction to Maryland Blue Crabs and that she really wants to be remembered for living, laughing, loving and working and for helping to make the community a better place for future generations.
The mom to two boys, Noble-Jones is also the daughter of a Leadership Albany alumni.
