Ed Freeman Leadership Award

 

Ed Freeman was the founding board chairman of Leadership Albany and served in that capacity until his death in August 1986. His unswerving commitment to community betterment remains a standard for past, present and future classes.

  
The Board of Directors established the Edward A. Freeman Leadership Award to recognize the civic contributions of program participants who have come to embody the best of Mr. Freeman's ideals.

NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2026 AWARD ARE OPEN THROUGH FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2026.  THE WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED DURING THE ANNUAL MEETING/GRADUATION CEREMONY ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19TH, 2026

Alumni can make nominations for this award by filling out Ed Freeman 2026 Nomination Form You will need to state the name of your nominee and describing why you feel the nominee should be honored with the award.
