Leadership Albany Class

Each class, made up of approximately thirty individuals, is selected each year based on a competitive application process.  Emphasis is placed on selecting participants from a cross-section of the community based on gender, ethnic background, profession, and volunteer experience. 

Nominations/Applications


The Leadership Albany Class of 2025 will be selected this fall.  Nominations for the Class of 2025 will be open May 30th. Dates for the classes for 2025 will be set in the coming months.

Friday and Saturday, January 12-13, 2024 - Opening Retreat
Thursday, February 8, 2024 - "Community Challenges"
Thursday, March 14, 2024 - "Innovation & Technology"
Thursday, April 11, 2024 - "Natural Resources"
Thursday, May 9, 2024 - "Discover Albany"
Thursday through Saturday, September 12-14, 2024 –Mid Year Retreat
Thursday, October 10, 2024 - "Cultural Competency & Communication"
Thursday, October 24, 2024 - Fireside Chat
Thursday, November 14, 2024 – "Engagement & Action"
Thursday, November 21, 2024 – Class of 2024 Program Graduation

 

Nominate

Nominations are now closed for the Class of 2025. Nominations for each class happen in April/May of each year.

Applications

The application for the next Leadership Albany Class will be emailed to each nominee after nominations close. The application is online and nominees will be sent a due date in their email with the application link.
