As an employee of the Marine Corps Logistics Command in Albany, Zandrea Waldon has the honor to communicate with and provide direct supply support to deployed Marines on a daily basis, with the primary goal of maximizing readiness. She is a Logistics Management Specialist with the Department of Defense.
“I enjoy the opportunity to lead and manage a group of skilled individuals, and apply leadership and organizational behavior techniques to maintain a motivated team and work environment conducive for productivity,” says Zan. She also enjoys mentoring members of the millennial generation entering the workforce.
“I’m passionate about youth and leadership development, workforce development, and organizational change,” says the avid volunteer who enjoys spending time with her two nieces and three nephews in Atlanta any chance she gets. When she’s not working or traveling, you might find her enjoying a quiet Sunday afternoon at Starbucks (she loves coffee!) writing and researching her proposal as she works toward her Doctorate of Business Administration in Leadership from Walden University.
Zan grew up in Atlanta and Decatur, and above all would like to be known as a teacher, a light, and a giver of knowledge and love.
